Our Mission
The MI Rural PAC supports people of integrity who courageously choose to run for public office — as Democrats — at the local or state level. It’s a simple mission with big goals.
Backing these Rural Michigan candidates with as much money as possible means we must beat the bushes for donations that we can funnel to candidates’ campaigns.
In short: We raise money to give it away to vetted people who validate themselves via our formal endorsement process. The more money we earn via donors, the more we can send out the door for candidates’ flyers, Facebook ads, yard signs and other campaign expenses.
Local offices have the biggest impact on the community: From Trustee to County Commissioner up to State Senate, these leaders make decisions that directly impact local and regional communities’ health departments, daycare and housing services, schools, libraries, and environmental programs.
The MI Rural PAC believes that — by supporting solid Rural Michigan candidates — we can make the biggest impact for our rural communities. … That we can make a difference.
